As your director, I notice things about situations that maybe you don't. Take today's car wash; I worked with about 20-25 of you that worked hard, listened and adapted, and took pride in your work. "Well, Mr. Miller, it's JUST a car wash"
On one hand...yeah, it is.
On the other, I can tell you from working with previous editions of Scott Band as well as other groups before my tenure here...a car wash made me even more anxious and excited to take that field with you guys.

I had a great time working with the individuals of Scott Band today because they made me feel a sense of family that we usually have to convince our membership of and get them to buy into. You're ahead of the game on a mental level. That's a BIG thing, kiddos.
We bolstered our funds a bit today, sure, but we also worked together for the first time this season and it was, well, it was pretty sweet. I can't wait to see just how much more we can expect from this fine band. I leave you with this...thought if anyone would enjoy it, you would:
