Hello all! I'm posting this morning to clarify/remind/notify you on many things regarding this year's band camp.
First, band camp is now OCCURRING AT WOODLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL. This means all of it. Report to WMS cafeteria each day. Do not attempt to go into Scott.
Second, despite the poor wording of my mailer, Camp fees are $200 if paid during the week, $220 is paid afterwards. These do not stack.
Third, due to construction and training schedules for teachers, we only have the one week of camp, from July 23-27.
Camp Schedule:
12:00-Daily meeting with directors
12:15-Sectionals in various rooms of WMS
3:15-Full Ensemble in Cafeteria
4:00-Dinner (bring your own)
5:00-Stretches/Marching Fundamentals
6:30-Visual Rehearsal
10:00-Full Ensemble Meeting
10:30-Dismissal
Special Notes:
*Some trumpets received one of the movements as a mellophone part. This IS intentional.
*Cuts to music will be published later today. Do not focus on the first half of Victory/Jubilation.
*Bring your signed contract/physical forms/fees on Monday.
*Guard is to deduct their uniform deposit from their fees.
