After two fantastic weeks of hard work, discipline, and pride; the Scott Marching Band has completed its 2015 Band Camp! A great many thanks go out to each of the volunteers from the Band Boosters and this year's Camp Staff who made this week a huge success. And what a preview show and picnic at Pride Park!
The show is officially 2/3 on. The first five sets of the closer are now on the Twitter feed. Please make sure to have Into Darkness marked for Monday's rehearsal (6-9). Color Guard is to arrive one hour earlier to have a sectional with Mrs. Miller.
This upcoming week will see many things happen in a short amount of time:
Monday: Rehearsal 6-9
Wednesday: First Day of School
Thursday: Band Booster's Meeting at 7 (Band Room)
Friday: Football Game 1 (report time at 5:30)*
*dress for this game will be Scott Band shirts and khaki shorts
For our new folks: we eat at Frisch's in Fort Wright after each football game. Make sure to become a part of this long-standing Scott Band tradition! We have a great time, not matter if you're sitting with the kids or the parents. And how could a night ending in hot fudge cake not be a good one?
We hope to see each and every one of you Friday, be it helping at the chili booth or eating at Frisch's!
